CILANTRO Project Kicks Off: Pioneering Carbon-Negative Cement Technology for a Sustainable Future

Brussels, Belgium – 10 October 2025 – The CILANTRO project, an ambitious new European initiative poised to revolutionize the cement industry, officially commenced its operations with a successful Kick-off Meeting held at the CSIC Brussels Office. This landmark project, co-funded by the European Union under its Horizon Europe EIC Pathfinder programme (Grant Agreement No. 101223262) and the Swiss Government, brings together eight partners from across Europe.
